Service Rates

My  rate is $75 an hour for in-your-home service, and $65 an hour if you bring it to me during regular business hours.*

Phone support is available at $30  per incident for up to 30 minutes.

Fees are charged in 1/2 hour increments with a 2 hour minimum for Berkeley, Albany, Oakland., El Cerrito, Emeryville and Richmond.

There is a 3 hour minimum for towns not listed above.

*If you bring your computer to me, I will charge you a $30 diagnostic fee, and will spend up to 30 minutes examination time. If it is a hardware problem, I will recommend a repair service, but if it’s a software problem and I can fix it, I will apply the diagnostic fee to your repair charge. Also, when possible, I make emergency  calls before/after hours (before 9 am and after 7 pm), and my on site fee will be $100 an hour.
